NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed 106th episode of the monthly radio program today.
On the 3rd of October 2014, Prime Minister Modi initiated the ‘Mann Ki Baat‘ program, which is aired on All India Radio and Doordarshan every last Sunday of the month at 11 am.
Despite the numerous digital communication options available, the Prime Minister chose radio as the medium of choice, primarily due to All India Radio’s (AIR) extensive reach, making it one of the world’s largest broadcasting networks.AIR’s coverage spans 99.20% of the population and extends over 92.0% of the country’s territory.
The ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program boasts a regular viewership of 23 crore individuals, with an additional 41 crore tuning in occasionally. According to reports, a significant majority of listeners, around 73%, hold optimistic views about the country’s progress
